Hello! We are Angela and Mark and welcome to our foodie adventures in the Cooking with Wine Blog. In this blog we share our passion about all things food from our favorite recipes to cooking our books or recreating our favorite dishes we’ve eaten at restaurants or while traveling, and finding creative ways to incorporate unique ingredients into our meals. We find happiness in this journey, and strive to discover our next favorite meal with you!

Q: Do you have professional culinary training?
Mark is currently completing his Elite Diplôme de Cuisine at the Culinary Institute LeNôtre in Houston, Texas.
Q: Did you always love to cook/bake?
Mark has always had the ‘cooking bug’ but I (Angela) discovered my passion for cooking when I met Mark. We began cooking together when we were first started dating and fell in love with cooking and each other along the way.
Q: What equipment do you use for your photos?
I shoot all of my photos in my home studio using my Nikon D750, Nikkor 24-70mm and Nikkor 105mm macro lenses. I primarily shoot with artificial light sources (speedlight, strobe, and continuous light). For editing, I use Adobe Lightroom Classic and Photoshop.
Q: Is blogging your full-time job?
Nope! Both Mark and I have other professions and careers that take up the majority of our time, so the work we do for the blog is primarily a passion project that allows us to make some money on the side. Call it our side hustle!
