Spring Whisk
This is our most requested item whenever we use it on IG stories or live cooking sessions. We use it mainly for sauces and eggs. It is one of those tools that you don't realize you need until you have it.
Milk Frother
To get that nice frothed coffee without the pricey machine, we turn to our handheld milk frother! Everyone deserves to have their morning coffee look and taste like an expensive latte without having to leave the house!

Olive Wood Serving Board
You know how much we love our charcuterie boards around here, and we can't ever resist a beautiful olive wood version like this one!

Immersion Hand Blender
We have owned our fair share of Immersion blenders from fancy ones to cheap ones, and somehow this version from Amazon Basics has become our favorite! And you honestly can't beat the price tag on this one for under $35, especially with the attachments. An immersion blender is a necessity for any home chef!

Crystal Cocktail Mixing Glass Bar Set
For the cocktail enthusiast, this cocktail mixing set has everything needed to make nice stirred classy cocktails.
Peugeot 12" Peppermill
Every home chef needs a nice pepper mill and once you find a good one, you will not go back. The Peugeot pepper mills have been our favorite for a long time. You cannot beat the quality of these! If you don't want to splurge on the 12", check out the smaller sizes that are perfect for the table.
Le Creuset Heritage Square Baking Dishes (Set of 2)
We don't go a week without using these baking dishes in one way or another. Not only are they useful, but they look beautiful as serving dishes on the table as well.
Wine Decanter
A wine decanter can double as a piece of art in your house, and we definitely display them like art when they look this nice! There are many decanters out there that are *very* expensive, but for us, we just need it to do its job for the wine we want to drink. And this one we use all the time!
Gifts under $200
If you are looking for some gifts of a bit more substance, this category is for you!
Master Class - Unlimited Access for 1 Year
If you have not heard of Master Class before, it is an online learning platform with video courses across a ton of different areas, but every instructor is considered a master in their craft! For the home chef or foodie, this looks like Gordan Ramsay, Thomas Keller, Yotam Ottolenghi, Niki Nakayama, Madhur Jaffrey, Wolfgang Puck, and others teaching courses in various cuisines directly to you in your home! I purchased this as a gift for Mark several years ago and we continue to renew it every year because it truly has so much to offer. The best part is, the annual membership includes all the categories outside of food so you can learn whatever you want from any of the masters (e.g., Serena Williams teaches tennis, or James Cameron teaches filmmaking).

Classic Pasta Maker With 2 Ravioli Stamps
In our opinion, every home needs a pasta roller and cutter! And if you do not have a stand mixer to fit the attachments, this hand crank version will do the trick! We actually own one of these that belonged to Mark's grandma, and it still works like a charm!
Pasta Roller and Cutter Attachments for Kitchenaid Stand Mixers
If you already have a Kitchenaid stand mixer, then this attachment set will allow you to make homemade pasta effortlessly. The set includes the roller to roll out sheets to make lasagna, ravioli, etc., as well as spaghetti and fettuccini cutters.
Anova Precision Cooker for Sous Vide
If you haven't joined the sous vide cooking game yet, you are truly missing out on a whole new level of precision cooking for perfect doneness every time! Precision cooking has been around and used, especially in France for a long time, but it wasn't until the last decade or so that precision cookers have been marketed to the masses with these more compact water circulators. If you are looking for a gift for someone who loves a gadget, then the Anova Precision Cooker is the answer. We use ours at least 2-3x a week! This attaches to any large pot or container, but if you want to be extra, HERE is the container we use with it. Check out our recipe for Habanero Honey Soy Rack of Lamb cooked Sous Vide for inspo on what to cook!
John Boos & Co. Cherry Edge-Grain Cutting Boards 24" x 18"
Every serious chef needs a Boos block! Yes, they are pricey but they are worth it! This Cherry wood version runs just under $200 but will last a lifetime.
Splurge-Worthy Gifts
Calphalon Premier™ Hard-Anodized Nonstick 11-Piece Set
A good set of nonstick pots and pans should be in every home kitchen! We absolutely love our Calphalon 11-piece set from the Premier™ collection. And even better, we have a discount code for 25% off! Use code COOKWITHWINE25.
Kitchenaid Stand Mixer
Wether you are a baker or cook, a stand mixer is a necessity in the kitchen. We use our stand mixer with pasta attachments to make pasta several times per week, and it has a permanent place on our countertops.
Wolf Gourmet Countertop Oven Elite
Although this is not currently in our kitchen, it has been on our wish list for a while, and maybe this will be the year that we splurge on one of these Wolf Countertop Ovens. These babies can literally do it all, so don't underestimate their small size. Wolf is known to be the best of the best when it comes to ovens and ranges, so this countertop version should only live up to its reputation.
Vitamix Blender
This is another one of those items where we have to say, "Yes, believe all the rumors!" The Vitamix is worth the hype and is definitely something to splurge on if you have the chance!
Le Creuset Enameled Ceramic Cookware Set
The rumors are also all true about Le Creuset, and their products are worth every penny! Mark received this particular set as a gift about 15 years ago and it is still as good as new! We have, of course, added to our set since then and we probably own most pieces that they make. Again, worth it to splurge if you really want something special for a special person in your life.
