A super simple and quick pizza sauce recipe! This recipe makes enough pizza sauce for about 10 personal pizzas.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 can (28 oz) whole peeled tomatoes – preferably Italian
  • ½ small onion, rough chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 2 tablespoon dried oregano
  • 2 tablespoon dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil

Instructions
 

  • Mix all ingredients in a blender to the desired consistency and pour into a cheesecloth-lined strainer or a very fine mesh sieve. Let the mixture drain for about 15-20 minutes until thickened. Place the thickened sauce into a container and refrigerate until ready to use.
