    What is Pink Gin??

Pink gin is a colorful twist on regular gin, but usually is made with red fruits like strawberries. This addition makes the color of the gin pink and often provides a slightly sweeter and fruitier flavor. Many non-gin drinkers even love Pink Gin, especially when mixed into cocktails with that vibrant color!

    Where to find Pink Gin?

You can find several brands with a version pink gin in most liquor stores now. Currently, our two favorites are Beefeater and Gordon's, but try out different brands to find your favorite.

Can I use regular orange juice if I can't find blood oranges?

Short answer, yes, but it will change the overall flavor profile of this cocktail a little. Besides the striking color or blood orange juice, it also tends to be sweeter than regular orange juice.

Blood orange season runs between October and May in North America, and finding blood oranges outside this period is very rare. We have noticed in recent years that more companies carry blood orange juice or flavored sodas throughout the year due to its popularity. You can experiment with juices or sodas in this cocktail if blood oranges are out of season.
